Head of the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-being of Russia Anna Popova underlined readiness of the country to assist the Islamic Republic of Iran to meet requirements for medicines to combat coronavirus in Iran. « We are standing alongside the Iranian people in combating coronavirus », - she told at the meeting with the ambassador of Iran in Russia Kazem Jalali who highly appreciated the statement of Popova and the president of Russia about readiness to help Iran to control coronavirus. France, Germany and the UK commit to providing a comprehensive package of both material and financial support to combat the rapid spread of a new type of coronavirus. It is also pointed out in the statement of the government of Great Britain. « France, Germany and the United Kingdom express their full solidarity with all impacted by COVID-19 in Iran. We are offering Iran a comprehensive package of both material and financial support to combat the rapid spread of the virus. The E3 has also committed to providing urgent additional financial support close to €5 million to fight the COVID-19 epidemic affecting Iran, through the WHO or other UN agencies», - as it is marked in the statement. Earlier it became known that the first party of humanitarian aids from the WHO had been delivered to Iran by a military plane from the United Arab Emirates. There were materials on board for conduction of analyses, medical equipment, protective suits and gloves.
