Iran’s Deputy Health Minister tests positive for coronavirus


Iraj Harirchi, Iran’s Deputy Health Minister, has tested positive for coronavirus, the Iranian State News Agency (IRNA) informs citing to Harirchi. Iran’s Deputy Health Minister added that he had started medication and expressed hope that his temperature would soon drop. Earlier, Kianoush Jahanpour, a spokesman of the Ministry of Health, said 34 of the new cases of coronavirus (Сovid-19) were confirmed in Iran, taking the country’s overall death toll to 15. Coronavirus COVID-19 has already affected 36 countries. According to European media, the first cases of infection from a new coronavirus are emerged in Austria and Croatia. The number of people infected with COVID-19 in Italy exceeds 320, the biggest cluster of infections in Europe.
