Meteorologists promise to Turkmen people the latest winter greetings
The State Meteorological Service of Turkmenistan predicts the last winter “boom” before spring warm weather. On February 26 and 27, a drop in the temperature is expected across Turkmenistan. In some areas, nighttime temperature may fall down below zero and precipitation is possible.
On the afternoon of February 26 and 27, the temperature in Ashgabat will not exceed +10° С.
However, this cold spell should be the latest winter greetings. In March, the thermometer will confidently show comfortable above-zero temperature.
To avoid any health problems during the short period of the drop in the temperature after a warm week, residents of Turkmenistan are recommended to wear warm, breathable clothes and waterproof shoes these days. Moreover, at the beginning of March, it would be good to have a seasonal vaccination against flu to be able to take a deep breath of spring air without a runny nose and cough.
