On October 21, the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan conducted by Rasul Klychev will give a big concert in the Ashgabat Music and Drama Theater named after Magtymguly. The presentation entitled “Two Geniuses, Two Epochs”, which is being prepared by musicians, will consist of two sections. The first will feature the most complex works of the German composer Ludwig van Beethoven. The famous creations of the last representative of the “classical Viennese school” will plunge the audience into the atmosphere of Europe at the end of the 18th century - in a rebellious, controversial and sensual time. The second part will consist entirely of works by the Turkmen composer Nury Halmamedov. The shrill Turkmen national melodies performed by classical instruments are touched by the listeners to the depths of the soul. Such an interesting combination of composers is not accidental. Both maestros were geniuses of piano music and created expressive works full of feelings and emotions. Both - each in his own way - turned the idea of sound and melody.
