Patriarch Kirill: conditions for interreligious dialogue created in Turkmenistan
In his congratulatory message to the Turkmen Leader on the occasion of Independence Day, the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill noted that over the past years Turkmenistan has gone through a long way of state building and numerous social and economic changes took place in the country. For 26 years of independence, the state has created conditions for a fruitful interreligious and interethnic dialogue, which makes a great contribution to the strengthening of peace and harmony in society. Patriarch Kirill also thanked the President of Turkmenistan for his many years of support to the parishes of the Patriarchal Deanery of the Russian Orthodox Church in Turkmenistan, stressing that the development of constructive interaction between the state and the church contributes to the spiritual and moral upbringing and education of the inhabitants of the country.
