Volunteering will be included in the employment record in Kazakhstan
Volunteering activity of citizens of Kazakhstan will be considered as employment history. President of the country Kassym-Jomart Tokayev announced it at the opening of the republican front-office of the charitable platform «Birgemiz» - «We - together», uniting volunteers from all over the country. For realisation of this plan a number of changes will be brought in the republic legislation. Volunteers will feel support and attention of the state, and an additional grant is paid to students or credits will be allocated for the voluntary work that complies with their volunteering activity. The unified platform of volunteers «QQazvolonteer.kz» is also under development. The volunteers, who have distinguished with their activity, will be recommended for state awards. Grants, additional scholarships and other incentives will allow to strengthen the volunteering movement and to involve in it the more number of supporters. Though payment is not provided for a voluntary activity, the created conditions will allow providing them with a moral support. The year 2020 has been declared as Year of the volunteer in Kazakhstan.
