Uzbekistan will create five new airlines, Uzbek mass media reported, referring to the draft state program for 2020. “The Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan, the State Tourism Committee and a number of other agencies have been assigned to create five new airlines before April 1 this year. This will increase the frequency of flights on existing routes and open new destinations,” the message says. It is also known that the total number of flights, operated by Uzbek airlines, will be increased by 2,800, and ten new international flights will be launched at each international airport of the republic in the “open-skies” mode.
