Head of Representative Office of Turkmenistan to the European Union Appointed

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has appointed the head of the representative office of Turkmenistan to the European Union. Turkmenistan’s ambassador to Belgium, Chary Ataev, will represent Turkmenistan’s interests in Brussels, the EU’s capital. The head of state signed the decree of appointment on Monday, February 10. On the same day, the Turkmen leader received Ambassador of the European Union Diego Ruiz Alonso, who presented his credentials from the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.
