British Ambassador in Ashgabat performs the Turkmen song at musical evening in diplomatic mission residence

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Turkmenistan Hugh Stanley Philpott, who took office in September 2019, performed the song “Turkmen sahrasy” (“Turkmen steppe”)  by the outstanding Turkmen composer Nury Halmamedov at a musical evening in his residence. The British diplomatic mission posted video of this performance on its Instagram.
