President of Turkmenistan ascends the Path of Health for sports walk
On Saturday morning, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov walked up the Path of Health to cross the footpath that run along the slopes of the Kopetdag mountain range. The sports walk of the head of state was showed at the Watan News program of the Turkmen TV.
The Path of Health is very popular with residents of Ashgabat. It is the best place both for enjoying the nature and for active leisure as the passage requires to be good trained physically to climb up and down. This is a some kind of endurance simulator, and the fact that it is located in the foothills of the mountains with its clean air and beautiful views makes it a unique “tool” for good health and good spirits. Therefore, mass sports events and youth competitions are often held here for the track passing speed test.
While walking along the Path of Health, President examined the surrounding areas, where spring mood is already in the air, the condition of the green plantations at the adjacent areas that annually planted with new trees. Here you can enjoy beautiful panoramic views of Ashgabat and its suburbs in the necklace of white marble high-rise buildings from highest places of the path. During the sports walk, the head of state also paid attention to the conditions for recreation of citizens and guests of the Turkmen capital created here.
