The team of travelers intends to ride on ten two-humped camels over 12,000 kilometers from Mongolia to Europe following the tracks of the ancient Silk Road. The Mongolian traveler, alpinist, executive director of the tourist company "Offroad Mongolia" N.Baigalmaa has initiated this idea, inspired by longing to acquaint the nations of the planet with her motherland, traditions and values of the Mongolian people. The famous British traveler Karl Bushby has joined the expedition, as he currently stays in Ulaanbaatar on the nineteenth year of his around-the-world walking journey. According to the web portal “Asia Russia Daily”, the group of adventurers will consist of three citizens of Mongolia and three foreigners. All of them are determined to face this complex distance, to be started from the hot desert of the Gobi. Then, the caravan will cross China, the countries of Central Asia - Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan - Iran, Turkey, before reaching the EU. The European part of the voyage envisages touring 12 countries. Following the ancient Mongol tradition, N. Baigalmaa doesn’t tell the exact date of departure.
