Turkmen bodybuilders are in the Top-7 at the International Tournament in China

Turkmen athlete Rustam Karaev, the absolute champion of the country and Central Asia, took the 5th place at the Belt and Road World Bodybuilding & Fitness International Cup on the version of the International Bodybuilding Federation (IFBB), which takes place in the city of Xi'an, China, on September 17-22. The bodybuilder, who performed in the category of “classic bodybuilding”, was worthy of his opponents from China and Poland. Another our compatriot, the absolute champion of the “Yelken Yacht Club Cup” Rustem Gaybadullin, also performed successfully at the competition and took the seventh place in the “beach” category. This tournament became the debut for Turkmen bodybuilders at the international competitions. The Belt and Road Championship, is an event amateur and pro Qualifier open for all the IFBB Affiliated Federations, and is an event qualifier for both, Elite Pro Status and the International Ranking. This year the tournament gathered representatives of more than 80 countries, each of them was aimed to win. On November 11, 2018, Turkmen bodybuilding amateurs are invited to participate in the Görogly Bodybuilding & Fitness Cup, organized by the Athletic Sports Center of Turkmenistan.
