Another underground road tunnel will be built in Ashgabat

A road tunnel will be built in Ashgabat at the intersection of Turkmenbashi and Atamyrat Niyazov Avenues. By order of the city executive board, the project to optimize the traffic flow in this part of the city will be implemented by the “Nusay yollary” individual enterprise. Cars following Atamyrat Niyazov Avenue will cross Turkmenbashi Avenue under the roundabout. Four underground passages will be built here for pedestrians. The construction company will also improve the surrounding area and provide laying of supply engineering communications. Transformations at the intersection will begin this January, and the work is planned to be fully completed in September 2020.
