Turkmen Puppet Theater will take part in the international festival in Dushanbe

The creative collective of the Turkmen State Puppet Theater will perform at the VI International Festival "Chodari Khalo", which will be held from October 22 to 29 in the capital of Tajikistan - the city of Dushanbe. The theater will present the play "Yuz tulla" based on the creation of playwright Guldurda Sakhetdurdiyev, written on the basis of the plot from the book "Turkmenistan is the heart of the Great Silk Road". The director of the production is Ilyas Durdiyev, the artist is Vepa Amansahedov. Also, the creative delegation included the director of the theater Amangul Mammetyazova, honored artists of Turkmenistan Mahtumkuli Khudaiberdiyev, Annachary Kakabayev, Khodjaguly Khodjaguliyev and others.Aina BERDYEVA
This is not the first participation of the Turkmen State Puppet Theater in this international competition. Earlier they successfully performed with the production of "Enemiň owlajygy" by the People's Artist of Turkmenistan Aman Gurbandurdyev.
The festival "Chodari Khalo" will bring together representatives of puppet theaters from five countries, in particular Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Russia. Its main goal is the development of cooperation between the creative teams of this type of theatrical art.
The first time "Chodari Khalo" was held in 2007. Then puppet theaters from Kyrgyzstan, Germany and Iran also took part in it.
