Budapest will host a meeting of the Turkmen-Hungarian IGC on Economic Cooperation


The regular, fourth meeting of the Turkmen-Hungarian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation is scheduled for the last decade of January in Budapest. The IGC membership for the Turkmenistan part was approved by President Berdimuhamedov. The discussions at the upcoming meeting of business circles of Turkmenistan and Hungary will cover issues related to partnership opportunities in the fuel and energy sector, high technology, such areas as trade, transport and communications, agriculture and water management, the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, tourism and education. The Agreement on Economic Cooperation signed by the Governments of the two countries is in force. A set of bilateral documents also includes the Cooperation Agreement between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the two countries, etc.
