Uzbekistan plans to create its own Golden Ring

In early January, it became known that Uzbekistan in the framework of the Resolution “On the accelerated development of tourism in the Tashkent region for 2019-2021” decided to develop a Tourist Golden Ring. According to the document, each district of the Tashkent region will devise its own tourism product, thereby developing different tourism directions. The main innovation of Uzbekistan is expansion in the number of countries that will be able to visit the country without visas from 2020. According to the country’s Ministry of Justice, about 45 investment projects will be implemented on the territory of the tourism cluster, as well as hotels and guest houses will be built additionally.
