UN75 - Join the global discussion on how to change the world for the better!

In commemoration of its 75th anniversary in 2020, the United Nations initiated a global discussion of the UN75.
This discussion, initiated by UN Secretary General António Guterres, promises to be the widest and largest ever global discussion of building the future we want, the UN information web portal reports.
In a world of major changes and complex problems, from the climate crisis to population displacement and unpredictable technological changes, we need to act together as never before. Through the UN75, the Organization will urge people to unite and find ways to enhance international cooperation that can help build a better world by 2045, the UN's 100th anniversary.
At this turning point in the history of the UN, UN75 asks three big questions:
1. WHAT FUTURE DO WE WANT TO CREATE?
2. ARE WE ON THE RIGHT TRACK?
3. WHAT MEASURES SHOULD BE TAKEN TO CLOSE THE GAP?
Anyone can join the discussion on these issues. The UN75 plans to involve as many people as possible, ideally representatives of all 193 UN member states, both online and offline through formal and informal dialogues. Together, they will share their hopes and fears, assess current and future risks and opportunities, and work out options for global cooperation.
In parallel, in order to obtain statistically representative data, public opinion polls and analysis of media materials will be conducted. Consolidated opinions and ideas will be presented to world leaders and will be widely disseminated.
The UN Charter was established on October 24, 1945 - this date is considered the organization’s birthday. At the UN General Assembly in 1971, a resolution was adopted that recommended that member countries include October 24 in the calendar of public holidays.
Join the global discussion, help change the world for the better. #UN75
