President of Turkmenistan inspected the construction progress of new facilities in Ashgabat

During a working trip round Ashgabat today President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has visited some major construction sites. The first stop of the head of state was the site designated for the International Burns Center. Its 5-storey building is designed for 130 patients, and includes intensive care units, an ambulance unit, a laboratory, etc. The head of Turkish Gap Inşaat that builds the facility reported to the President on the construction progress. The same contractor presented visual information in the form of sketch and design projects for the construction of an International Medical and Aesthetic Center and other medical facilities in Ashgabat. Having studied the projects and commented on some fundamental points, the head of state also specified the need to build a specialized center for the prevention and treatment of diabetes mellitus. The President also considered the projects proposed by the Turkish Company to build a new mineral fertilizers plant, increase the production of cement and electricity. The Russian Company Vozrozhdeniye also presented its design developments for the construction of a mudflow diversion system at the mountains in the south of Ashgabat. Then Berdimuhamedov inspected the construction projects of the Garagum Hotel and Business Center in the north-west of the capital and reviewed various options for the architectural solution to the hotel to be built near the Old Nisa settlement. In addition to the new hotel complexes, there are plans to extend the Nisa Hotel located in the center of Ashgabat, that is, to complete its second construction phase.
