The book «Turkmenistan - heart of the Great silk road» was published in Arabic

In the International University for the Humanities and Development in Ashgabat the presentation of the book by president Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov «Turkmenistan - heart of the Great Silk road», published in Arabic took place. Representatives of the academic community of Saudi Arabia led by the president of the Centre for Scientific Relations and Research of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia professor Yahya Mahmud bin Junaid, the ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of SA Orazmuhammet Charyev, experts of the Institute of Language, Literature and National manuscripts named after Mahtumkuli of AST, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, art workers and students took part in the event. Translation and publication of the book was carried out by the Centre for Scientific Relations and Research of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with active assistance of Turkmen philologists. As the president of the given Centre noted in the introduction, work of the Turkmen leader allows to estimate objectively a historical way of Turkmen people, to familiarise with its national cultural originality, traditions, customs and vital foundations, to realise the contribution of Turkmen to the world of scientific, economic and cultural development. Now this work became accessible also to readers of the Arabian world. It becomes a valuable source for the academic, student's researches in the area of history of the Great Silk road, the processes of formation of diplomacy connected with it and dialogue of cultures between the regional people. Yahya Mahmud ibn Junaid added that in the Centre for Scientific Relations and Research of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia considered it necessary to translate this book into Arabic as in it on concrete examples from experience of a legendary Great Silk road importance of trade, economic contacts in preservation of peace, establishments of equal relations on the way to general well-being and justice is proved. The ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Orazmuhammet Charyev, Rector of the International University for the Humanities and Development Esen Aydogdyev, research assistants of the Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts named after Mahtumkuli of AST, students studying the Arabian language shared their opinion on the value of the book as well. In conversation with the correspondent of the ORIENT news professor Yahya Mahmud ibn Junaid on the question, what other works by the president of Turkmenistan are planned to translate into Arabic, answered: - We have prepared a special program of translation of the books by the Turkmen leader according to which at present at the final stage of translation of the book «Winged horses» into Arabic, there remained illustrative works. He also has added that the encyclopaedia «Medicinal plants of Turkmenistan» which, certainly, will be interesting to the Arabic readers, is also planned to be translated. According to Yahya Mahmud ibn Junaid it is already his sixth visit to Ashgabat. Earlier he took part here in the international conferences devoted to historical personalities such, as Nurmuhammet Andalib, Mahtumkuli Fragy.
