One woman pilot to compete with the rally "Amul-Khazar 2018"

It would seem rather surprising - women fly into space, sink to the ocean floor, work in the Far North or in a hot desert. And yet, women in motorsport are a phenomenon not very familiar. But, as it turned out, not for the international rally "Amul-Khazar 2018", which will be held in Turkmenistan on September 9-15 this year.
At a briefing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, dedicated to the upcoming competitions, the correspondent of the women's magazine asked the organizers if there were any women among the participants in the auto racing.
At this representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Geldimyrat Haldurdyev fairly ordinary said that the only car racer from Russia, Julia Migunova-Hegai, will be competing in the event.
Motorsport, of course, is a dangerous hobby. Cars rush with such frenzied speed that they are called fireballs, that is meteors, and people controlling them - pilots.
Let's pay tribute to the only pilot in the Turkmen rally for courage and wish her success.
The rally will startin the ancient city of Amul on the Amudarya River in the east of Turkmenistan. The car racers will cross the territory of Turkmenistan from east to west and finish in the Avaza National Tourist Zone on the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea, which the Turkmens in olden times called Khazar.
The length of the route is more than 1500 kilometers. The most difficult for the crews are the sections of the route in the Karakum Desert.
It is expected that about 80 crews from 20 countries will take part in the rally. Participants of the race will compete in three categories: cars, trucks and SSV class vehicles.
The rally is just a little time away ...
