Turkmenistan on the map of driving tour UAE-China


Racers from the UAE, China and other countries intend to conquer the roads of the new Silk Road and go on journey called “1% Drive Master”.
15 automobile aficionados intend in a month from 23 September to 23 October to travel 15,000 kilometers. The route with the start in Dubai will run through 22 cities of the UAE, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan with the finish in Chinese Xi’an, Shanxi province.
According to the program, the first three days of the tour are devoted to the Emirates, from where the crews will fly to Turkmenistan. Overall, the teams plan to drive daily for 4-9 hours, covering 500-700 kilometers.
The expedition, the stated goal of which is a friendship message to the countries of the Silk Road, is organized by the Emirates Motor Sports Federation, the UAE Automobile and Tourist club under the patronage of the crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The founder of the campaign "1% Drive Master UAE to China", the founder of the Arab-Chinese automobile club Ninghai Ma commented on the title of his idea: “99% of people are talking about dreams; while only 1% make them happen. We encourage people to join the 1%, to gain courage and to make the dream come true.”
“The logo of 1% is true on this subject. Some people love to swim, or jog, or run. For me driving is my life. This trip is unique and I’m sure I’ll get more experience about the road, different cultures, countries, and about the people,” said lawyer, skilled rally driver Ziad Hassouneh to Gulf News.
Another participant of the race, the Jordanian Hussain Rabah, hopes to enjoy the picturesque natural landscapes of Central Asian countries, because 85% of the time travelers plan to spend in the rural areas.
It should be reminded that now Turkmenistan continues preparation for the international eco-rally-raid “Amul-Khazar 2018”, scheduled for 11-15 September. Most of the route will cover the Karakum off-road and undoubtedly be a bright memorable event of world motorsport.
