Turkmen-Bahraini business forum held in Manama


On Wednesday, November 27, the Turkmen-Bahraini business forum was held in the city of Manama, the capital of Bahrain, the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan informs.
Turkmen delegation headed by the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dovletgeldy Rejepov arrived in Manama to participate in a business meeting. The delegation also included executives and representatives of state and private organizations and companies specializing in different segments of economy.
During his address at the opening of the business forum, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bahrain Sameer Abdulla Ahmed Nass underlined the high level of trade-economic cooperation between the two countries and noted that a vast potential for collaboration exists in such areas as transport, innovative technologies, seaport infrastructure, urban planning and others.
Also in the framework of the forum, the bilateral meetings between the representatives of various agencies and business circles of the two countries took place during which the opportunities of implementing joint projects, including in the field of food and textile industries, finances and tourism, were discussed.
