Turkmen Cadet gained high award in Pakistani military educational establishment
Graduate Cadet Hudayberenov Eresh from Turkmenistan of the 136th long course of Pakistani Military Academy has been awarded the academy’s highest award for foreigners – Overseas Gold Medal.
This award is conferred to foreign students for excellent skills and results, demonstrated in studies and physical training.
The awarding ceremony took place passing out parade of 136th PMA Long Course, Graduate Course 36th, Technical Graduate Course 29th and Integrated Course 55 in Kakul academy on Saturday.
The solemn event was attended by cadets from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Turkmenistan and Libya and reviewed by General Nicholas Patrick Carter, Chief of General Staff (CGS) UK Army, who was invited as the chief guest.
The Pakistan Military Academy at Kakul (PMA) is a federal service military educational establishment with 70-years experience. The academy has four training battalions, and 16 companies and provides comprehensive package of basic military skills, conceptual appreciation of varied professional knowledge, tactical exercises under simulated battlefield conditions. Students from over 20 countries study there under state programs.
Cadets for long courses are selected after higher secondary school and graduate the courses as 2nd lieutenants.
