Ashgabat hosts a seminar for media representatives with the participation of international experts
The OSCE Center in Ashgabat organized a seminar for representatives of the Turkmen media on the topic “Modern approaches to journalistic education”.
During the seminar, international experts Pal Tamash (Hungary) and Taras Shevchenko (Ukraine) told the participants about current media trends, and also paid attention to the legal norms of journalism.

Taras Shevchenko in his speech paid special attention to such topics as the protection of information sources, copyright and advertising in the press, which is one of the main components in the field of journalism.
The second day of the seminar is planned to be devoted to issues of the organizational form of education, methods of teaching journalists the course of free speech, etc.
The OSCE Center in Ashgabat regularly holds various trainings and seminars for journalists in order to support the modernization and development of the media in Turkmenistan. So, in July of this year, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe held a seminar on the topic “Online Journalism”.
