Turkmen businessmen to consolidate positions on the Eurasian market
The permanent trading pavilion of Turkmenistan, created within the framework of the Eurasian Business Union’s project “Eurasian Business Platform” has been opened in Moscow on the territory of the wholesale food distribution center “Food City”. The Union of Entrepreneurs of the Eurasian Economic Zone “Eurasian Business Union” is a non-profit organization established to promote the economic integration processes among the countries participating in the Eurasian Economic Union, SCO, BRICS, ASEAN and other countries of the Eurasian continent. The main direction of the activity is supporting small and medium-sized enterprises operating in agriculture and production. What benefits does the opening of the pavilion bring to the participants of the project? At the pavilion, the producers of foreign countries get the opportunity to go out with commodity offers to the markets of Russia. The arrangement of the pavilions under the same roof create conditions for manufacturers and buyers to directly establish business contacts without intermediaries, conclude contracts, discuss the assortment of goods, study marketing demand and supply. This principle significantly reduces the ultimate cost of goods in sales outlets and facilitates the establishment of closer cooperation between Eurasian commodity producers. The pavilion of Turkmenistan now displays the products of the country’s major producers. These are mainly food items – juices, sauces, ketchups, baby food, sausages, confectionery and textile products. However, Turkmen businessmen promise to expand and diversify the product range. The Turkmen trading platform is headed by Merdanmurad Muhamedov (company "Çyzgy Hyzmatlary"). The opening of the Turkmen pavilion is a practical step towards implementing the agreements reached at the highest level during the recent official visit of the Russian President to Ashgabat. According to Daniil Putyatin, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Business Union, the Turkmen-Russian relations, which have an impressive potential for development, will contribute to strengthening business and trade-economic ties. The pavilions of Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Israel, Indonesia, Iran, Kenya, Macedonia, Pakistan, South Korea and a number of Russian regions are already working in “Food City”.
