The Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva hosted a concert, the program of which included works by Turkmen, Russian and European composers. Teachers and students of the chamber ensemble department of the Turkmen National Conservatory performed compositions. The song “Saňa” by Rejep Rejepov, lyrical, full of bliss and love of melancholy, was performed by Maya Gullayeva (mezzo-soprano) to the accompaniment of Firyuza Jumamyradova (piano). Also brilliantly, the vocalist performed the song “Näme sen” by Hadyr Allanurov to the piano accompaniment of Sabir Kulmammedov. A wonderful tenor with dramatic voice, Begench Moshshiyev presented the public a song from the cycle of Love by Nury Halmamedov - “Gyz”, and, a 3rd-year student, pianist Ajap Ilova accompanied him. Further, continuing the concert, Begench Moshshiyev immersed the audience in the atmosphere of the 19th century, at the time of balls and masquerades, which was so “vividly” portrayed by the classic of Russian music Pyotr Tchaikovsky in the novels “Amid a Noisy Ball” and “I would like to make a single word.” The accompaniment was performed by Mahri Moshshiyeva. The Tchaikovsky’s works were further presented by Polina’s aria from the opera “The Queen of Spades”, where Maya Gullayeva again won the hearts of audience with a velvety, tender voice. The piano part was performed by Kadyr Dollyev. The nostalgia and sadness that reigned in the soul of the great Russian romantic of the past century, Sergey Rachmaninov, were in the vocal composition “He took everything from me”. The image was vividly performed by amazing, beutiful Bahar Durdyeva with her powerful soprano and Ajap Ilova (piano). The mood of humor and positive emotions were presented by “Humoresk” by Robert Schuman that was performed by a trio – Mekan Meretdurdyev (violin), Merdan Bayramov (cello) and Ajap Ilova (piano). A different state of mind was shown in Schuman’s a-moll violin and piano sonata, which was very touchingly performed by pianist Keyk Hojagurbanova and violinist Gulshirin Djumaniyazova. World classical music masterpieces, such as “Ave Maria” by Giulio Caccini, Sonata for cello and piano by Bernhard Romberg, “With a water lily” by Edward Grieg – were also performed. Thanks to the skill, talent and love of music of teachers and students of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva, the concert gave the audience unforgettable impressions and pride in the fact that the national culture has such thoughtful and art-seeking youth.
