Popular Turkish TV series "Ertugrul: Revival" extended for another season. The creators of the series promised fans to release the first issue of the new season on October 31, 2018. The drama series "Ertugrul: Revival" tells about the birth of the Ottoman Empire. The plot of the series is focused on Ertugrul, the legendary leader of the Turkmen Oguz tribe Kaya, the founder of the Ottoman dynasty. Having migrated from Central Asia from the territory of modern Turkmenistan, part of the Kaya tribe, headed by Ertugrul, settled on the plain of Söğüt. As a result of continuous conquests Ertugrul expanded his territories and became one of the most significant political figures in Asia Minor. After his death at the age of 90, his son Osman derived power and continued his father's policy. Having significantly increased its territory, Osman I Ghazi became the founder of the Ottoman dynasty and the first monarch of the Ottoman State. A distinctive feature of the series is that the writers did not complement the plot of the author's fiction, fully relying on historical sources.
