Competitions in the arts – Delphic Games in a new format
The Delphic Games can be compared to the Olympics in the art world. In the framework of festivals, competitions, presentations and exhibitions, the best of the best – musicians, artists, dancers are presented there. For the second time, the Delphic Games are held in the form of the Delphic Championship.
On November 22-26, 2019 the Russian Federation (Moscow region) will host the 14th Youth Delphic Games of the CIS member-states.
The competition will be held in 6 categories – piano, violin, academic, folk and pop singing, open nomination, which can be attended by solo or collective performers in other stage genres. For example, dance ensembles.
More than 400 talented representatives of the art world at the age of 10-25 years will participate in the creative championship.
The format of the championship implies a competition in “pairs”, in which the winner is decided, passing to the next round. Two semifinals’ winners participate in the final, playing for the first and second places. Both losers of two semi-finals won the third prize.
The jury and the number of guests will include more than 50 prominent artists of the CIS countries.
On a par with the CIS Sports Games, the Delphic Games of the CIS member-states will be an excellent platform for the getting acquainted with culture of the peoples of the region and the world.
