Grandiose Turkmen-Turkish concert held in Ashgabat

The soloists of the Izmir Opera and Ballet Theater, Filiz Gunesh and Oguz Chimen, shone on the stage of the Magtymguly Musical Drama Theater.
Accompanied by the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan under the direction of Rasul Klychev, Turkish opera singers performed classical musical compositions and national tunes.
Excerpts from opera arias by Giacomo Puccini and Giuseppe Verdi sounded loudly throughout the auditorium.
Filiz Gunesh in a luxurious scarlet dress became a real decoration of the evening concert. Her bewitching soprano captivated the audience. After almost every aria, the soloist was presented with bouquets of flowers by children who came to the concert with their parents.
The symphony orchestra conducted by Rasul Klychev, as always, was beyond praise. The audience rejoiced when the first chords of Danatar Ovezov's opera Aina began to play.
"Waltz" by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, "Mazurka" by Aram Khachaturian, "Firuza" by Amandurdy Agadzhikov and, of course, the works of Nury Halmamedov were performed by the orchestra.
The final number of the concert program was a magnificent performance by Turkish artists of famous compositions to the music of Nury Halmamedov - “Ashgabat” and “Turkmen Sahrasy”.
The wonderful duet of Filiz Gunesh and Oguz Chimen will be remembered for a long time by the Ashgabat audience. Grateful spectators did not want to disperse for a long time, bathing the artists in applause.
The concert was dedicated to the celebration of the national holiday of Turkey - the Day of the Republic of Turkey.
