Leaders of Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan discuss bilateral relations

In Baku, at the end of the first day of the Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement, a meeting between the Turkmen leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev was held. The heads of state discussed issues related to the international politics, as well as economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan, bilateral trade of which is growing this year. So, during January-September 2019, according to the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan, the volume of Turkmen export to Azerbaijan was more than 104.7 million US dollars, while, during the same period in 2018, the trade turnover was 70 million US dollars.
