The International Conference “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2019” and Exhibition OGT-EXPO have opened in Ashgabat. The forum brought together the largest local and foreign companies dealing with the exploration and development of oil and gas wells, production, transportation and processing of hydrocarbons, as well as logistics and transportation of them not only to domestic consumers, but also to the world market. The leading  companies like Dragon Oil (United Arab Emirates), PETRONAS (Malaysia), CNPC (China), Sumimoto Corporation (Japan), TATNEFT (Russia), Çalık Enerji (Turkey), SOCAR (Azerbaijan), Schlumberger (Netherlands), GESSCON GmbH (Germany) are among others. This year, particular emphasis is placed on the oil and gas chemical industries. Thus, Turkmenbashi Oil Refinery, the polymer plant in Kiyanly, the gas chemical complex in Ovadan-depe, as well as the state-owned concerns Turkmengaz and Turkmennebit in their expositions focused on the possibility of expanding international cooperation not only in the extraction of natural resources, but in the goods with high value added produced from these products, which is of great demand by consumers.
