Armenia can join the importing countries of Turkmen gas
Armenia can join the list of importing countries of Turkmen natural gas. The Armenian newspaper “Zhokhovurd” writes about this. According to the information available to the publication, the Presidents of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Armenia Serzh Sargsyan in Yerevan and then in Ashgabat held talks on the possibility of organizing the delivery of Turkmen "blue fuel" to Armenia. “Zhokhovurd” reported earlier that after negotiations with the Russian Federation, which is the main gas supplier to Armenia, Turkmen gas supplies to Armenia via Iran for re-export to other states were discussed with the Turkmen Leader. The newspaper emphasizes that this information was confirmed by Iranian officials during the visit of the Head of the Armenian government Karen Karapetyan to the Iranian capital. According to Iran's Deputy Oil Minister Amir Hossein Zamaninia, the Armenian delegation exchanged views in Tehran on Iranian purchases and supplies of Turkmen gas to Armenia through Iran.
