Berdimuhamedov and Rahmon checked approaches of the states to the development of a dialogue

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon met before the beginning of the meeting of the Council of heads of states of CIS countries in Ashgabat. Heads of the states discussed priority issues of bilateral cooperation, checked approaches to trade and economic relations and considered other directions of partnership. The transport-communication sector where both countries have good transit possibilities became a separate theme of discussion. In this plan high potential opens with realization of the project of the Asian railway corridor - buildings of the highway Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Tajikistan which becomes an important link in the regional and international transit-transport network.
