For a long time, Turkmenistan has good relations with the ethnic diaspora of Turkmen in the Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation. Recently, a school built by the Turkmen side in the Volga region received a Turkmen language teacher who arrived from Turkmenistan and the first students enrolled in this new school year. Now local children from the Turkmen community can study their native language as a part of the school curriculum.
The Humanitarian Association of the Turkmen of the World has done a great job. The organization, established in 1991, is expanding and gaining popularity, and the potential of future projects to strengthen ties is growing. After all, what is the Fatherland? This is the sum of the economic, legal, political facts and ideas given to us by a will of our ancestors.
Moreover, the Homeland is the place where you want to come back always, where you understand that here you finally can have a home that you always missed in a foreign country.
