On September 20, a master class of the famous Russian pianist Yuri Bogdanov was held in the small hall of the Ashgabat music school. After the concert on the eve of the concert, the honored artist of Russia with great pleasure visited the school where young talents are studying. Here he talked about how glad he was to get acquainted with the capital of Turkmenistan. Presented his book: “Work on the technique of playing the piano”, and taught several practical lessons for pupils of the school and students of the Turkmen National Conservatory. The master class was held in the form of contact communication and a graphic example. 4th year student of TNK Amannazar Arslanov performed on the piano "Etude-picture in E Flat Minor" by Sergei Rachmaninov. Yuri Alexandrovich gave competent advice on the performance of a classical piece. He reminded that it is important for every pianist to train his finger technique. The melody should not sink in the accompaniment, in order to play long musical phrases, the “voice” should rise above the texture. - The music of Rachmaninov is particularly different in that the melodies in his works are very long. Not short, as, for example, Haydn or other composers. Pay attention to finger strength, proper fit behind the tool. And try to make the sound “go deeper” into the piano,” recommended Yuri Bogdanov. Mergen Amanova, a 1st year student of TNCs, also demonstrated her musical abilities. She played one of Chopin's Ballads. The Russian musician appreciated the talent of the young pianist, and, inspired, he decided to repeat this work. Pupils and teachers watching the master class in the hall thanked such an honored guest with applause. In continuation of the creative meeting, telling a little about himself, Yuri Bogdanov answered the questions of young musicians, teachers and guests. - I was lucky with the teachers, my first piano teacher Anna Artobolevskaya, Tatyana Rodionova is a composition teacher. I still compose music. Yesterday you heard at a concert, played my works, - the pianist shared. Yuri Bogdanov is a laureate of international competitions, he taught children for a long time, then he was invited to the Gnesins Academy. Where he became an assistant professor, and soon a professor. And the housekeeper Daria Karplyuk is an assistant professor. The audience also had questions to her: "What instrument is the closest to Daria?" After all, she masterfully owns both domra and piano. - Initially, of course, the piano, because my grandmother was the director of the music school, and I spent a lot of time at the piano. And to the domra, I came all the same later, at the age of 8, - said Daria. Giving parting words to young musicians, Yuri Bogdanov noted that a modern pianist should have a good knowledge of traditions. - If you break away from your roots, then your future is very doubtful. We have great traditions of the past. Opening tyraditions to students, getting to know the secrets of playing the piano, reading books, finding out what schools were. I am very interested in these questions and tell my students of them.
