Ad Experts from CA to gather at Ad Festival in Almaty

On September 29-30, the VII Red Jolbors Festival will be held in Almaty, where ad professionals will exchange experience and discuss the further development of the ad industry in the Central Asian region. The festival will gather the creative and advertising agencies, production and design studios, freelancers, ad experts, as well as experts in marketing and communications from the countries of Central Asia and the CIS. The festival will consist of two parts: lectures from famous advertisers and a competition for the best advertising among the participants. In addition, as part of the event, the ad guru will give several master classes and answer all questions. In recent years, the advertising market in Turkmenistan has been developing rapidly. In 2012, “Allegro” Economic Society, one of the leading advertising agencies in Turkmenistan, won the prestigious international award “The Golden Arch of Europe” in the Gold category.Altyn ASHYROVA
A resolution, pursuant to which the funding of television and radio channels by the State Committee for television, radio broadcasting and cinematography is gradually discontinued from the state budget starting from 2018 within 4 years, came into force. Further functioning of television and radio channels will be ensured through advertising and revenues generated from cost accounting.
“Turkmen television previously provided advertising services. However, the resolution on the transition of television and radio to self-sufficiency through advertising will certainly give impetus to the development of the advertising industry in the country. Private companies that deal with ad production, video and audio commercials will be up-graded,” says Hudayberdi Atayev, head of one of the private advertising companies of Ashgabat.
