Cooperation are among of 15 documents signed on Monday following the summit talks between President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov and President Vladimir Putin in Ashgabat.
This document will open the way for implementation of practical steps aimed at the economic development of the Kuban and mutual promotion of products in foreign markets.
Kuban agro-industrialists, in particular, are keen to supply to Turkmenistan food wheat, rice, vegetable oil and canned products.
The parties plan to work on joint projects in the field of innovative development and import substitution.
According to the Krasnodar krai administration, the trade turnover between Turkmenistan and this Russian region exceeded US $ 20 million in 2016, and in the first half of 2017 it reached US $ 8.5 million. The business circles from Kuban export agro items and engineering products to Turkmenistan.
However, even brief overview of the economic orientation of the Krasnodar Territory testifies that the potential for interaction between this Russian southwestern region and Turkmenistan is substantially high.
Promising areas are those spheres that are progressing today in both economies. These are food industry, electric power industry, machine building, construction materials industry, oil production, chemical complex, crop sector of agriculture.
Numerous benefits can be found from the exchange of experience in management of sea resort recreation, taking into account the successful development of the tourist zone of Avaza in Turkmenistan and the growing popularity of the Azov and Black Sea resorts of the Kuban.
