Three views of the world: the exhibition devoted to birthday anniversaries of artists opened in Ashgabat

In the central gallery of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan the exhibition timed to birthday anniversaries of Turkmen painters Yolmammet Annayev, Meretgeldi Akmammedov, Valentina Kudryashova and Kakageldi Seyitmuhammedov who marked their 70th birthday anniversaries, was opened.
A retrospective exhibition covers a long period: from the 1960-ties to our days.
They all have had a frenzied passion for painting since childhood and they have made no other choice of profession. But, of course, every author has established his own creative path. For example, Viktor Kudryashov says that he was always in search of his own style and manner. «Now I can safely day that I have succeeded», - he added.
Meretgeldi Akmammedov and Yolmammet Annayev are renowned masters of brush whose styles can be recognized at once. However, they have covered a long way to attain it with that inner unsatisfiedness which opens space for thoughts, growth and inspiration.
Subjects of canvases included in the exposition mainly are simple and ordinary. And at the same time, in these images one can see eternal values the light of which fills the human life: love, maternal tenderness, nature beauty, wisdom of traditions.
Over 100 paintings are displayed at the exhibition: landscapes, still lives, and portraits and each of them is unique in their own way.
There are philosophical paintings reminding an Oriental metaphor in which behind refinements of words and simile a deep meaning is hidden. Other works are similar to a lyrical joyful song or a folk melody which sound low, but penetrates into the core of one’s soul...
The exhibition is open to August 15.
