Zelensky dismissed the ambassador of Ukraine in Turkmenistan, appointed by Yanukovich

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky released Valentin Shevalyov from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Turkmenistan. This was reported by the website of the head of Ukrainian state.
69-year-old Shevalyov was the oldest representative of ambassadors of foreign countries accredited in Ashgabat. He was appointed the Ukrainian ambassador to Turkmenistan as far back as 2010 during the government of President Viktor Yanukovich.
Along with Shevaliev 10 more ambassadors were dismissed from their positions. According to journalists, the dismissal of Valery Chaly from the post of Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States was the most significant resignation.
