Specialists of the Celestial Empire are pioneers in the "teleportation" between the continents
A joint experiment of the specialists of the People's Republic of China and Austria allowed using a unique quantum satellite to "teleport" particles between the continents. In addition, they managed to hold an online conference, protected at the quantum level.
According to the participants of the literally fantastic experiment, the results of which are aimed at inventing a fundamentally new quantum world information and computer network, whose work will be many times faster and safer than the current one.
Launching the above-mentioned space satellite, the developers from China managed to transfer the quantum keys to the ground, breaking the distance of 1 thousand 200 kilometers. At the same time they provided a link to different objects on our Earth, located at the same distance from each other, and successfully conducted an experiment on orbital quantum teleportation. This contributed to the acceleration of the transfer of information in more than 20 times compared to what humanity has today.
For several years experts from all over the world have been engaged in research in the field of quantum communication, but the maximum distance of information exchange has reached only two or three hundred kilometers. This is due to the use of obsolete fiber-optic connection. China became the first country to develop a quantum space satellite that allowed expanding the geography of receiving and transmitting data on a space scale.
In order to carry out this project, the main scientific department of the People's Republic of China linked the satellite channels of quantum communication with the ground quantum network, which united the capital and a number of Chinese cities, also connected to the same network in the Austrian capital. As a result, the world's first quantum communication session between the capitals of China and Austria became possible.
At the present time, China is successfully increasing international cooperation in this promising area, including interstate interaction with Turkmenistan, where much attention is paid to the development of science, technology, and the expansion of partnership among scientific centers and institutions.
An example of bilateral cooperation in this area is the Agreement signed between the countries in 2016 aimed at enhancing scientific and technological cooperation, as well as the First Turkmen-Chinese Science and Innovation Forum scheduled for October 11-12 organized by the Turkmen Academy of Sciences and the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China.
