The residents and guests of the capital have not yet forgotten the bright events that took place within the framework of the Culture Week, and another pleasant surprise is already coming soon for them. The first Theater Festival of Turkmenistan will be held in Ashgabat on July 1 – 7. The six capital theaters will be united with one topic – development and formation of Turkmenistan at the Great Silk Road.Altyn ASHIROVA
New performances, such as “Amul Hazar arasy” (“Between Amul and Hazar”), “Yüpek ýolunyň ýüregi” (“The Heart of the Silk Road”), “Gündogaryň ýyldyzy” (“Star of the East”), “Daýahatyn” (“Dayahatyn”) and many others will catch the fancy not only the sophisticated adult, but also the small spectators. It is for them that the puppet theater will present on stage the performance “Kerwenbaşynyň ogly” (“The Son of the Karavanbashy”), which will introduce Turkmen folk art traditions to the young theatregoers.
