80 athletes to compete for the Turkmenistan Taekwondo Cup

On June 10, the 18th Turkmenistan Cup and the 8th Cup of the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Turkmenistan on Taekwondo will start in Ashgabat. The Ministry of Sport and Youth Policy of Turkmenistan jointly with the National Center of Turkmenistan for Taekwondo and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Turkmenistan hold the tournament. 80 athletes from Ashgabat and other regions of the country will demonstrate their abilities in 15 different weight categories. The winners of the competitions will be included in the national team of Turkmenistan, which will prepare intensively for international competitions. Previously, the team of Turkmenistan on this sport successfully performed at the Open Taekwondo Championship in the United Arab Emirates in 2017, having won one silver and two bronze medals.Ayjahan ATABALLIYEVA
