A freight train from China to the countries of Central Asia to travel once a week


A railway train has been launched, delivering goods directly from the central part of China to five Central Asian countries, reports the Chinese international news channel CGTN. The freight train will run once a week. From Xinxiang City District in Henan Province, it will travel through the cities of Taiyuan, Yinchuan, Zhongwei, Wuwei and Urumqi. Further through the checkpoint "Alashankou" it will cross the border with Kazakhstan and through the checkpoint "Dostyk" it will go to Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. Central Asian countries will be supplied with mechanical equipment, rubber products, fireproof materials and other goods, and the train will return with various raw materials. It is noted that 43 wagons will be on the train, and the annual volume of freight traffic will reach 150-200 thousand tons. An increase in the number of runs is expected.
