In Tbilisi, competitions in honor of the World Bicycle Day were held
In honour of the World Bicycle Day, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia jointly with the National Cycling Federation of the country, held the cycling track competition in the Olympic Sports Center of Tbilisi. Diplomats, athletes and coaches of Georgia attended the event. The competition was widely covered in local media, which noted the great importance of Turkmenistan’s initiated worldwide sports festival, which will strengthen the popularity of cycling around the world. The diplomatic missions of Turkmenistan in other countries will also organize similar bicycle activities. In particular, on June 3, large bicycle marathons are being prepared in USA, Russia, Uzbekistan and other countries. The World Bicycle Day will be widely celebrated in Turkmenistan, where a lot of competitions and actions will be held to promote a healthy lifestyle.
