Pervana Myradova – ballerina of the Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater of the Republic of Belarus. Her life story begins in sunny Turkmenistan, and today she is one of the leading soloists of the Belarusian ballet. Her path to the profession began with the fact that her mother’s friend, choreographer Irina Mergenova, who opened the door to the ballet world for her, showing videos of ballet performances at the beginning, noticed the girl’s abilities. - This art was so unusual, so fascinating. I was just shocked! Then she started to work with me. I was about seven years old, – says Pervana. Three years later, the parents and the teacher decided that the young ballerina needed to move on. - At the age of 10, I came to Minsk with my mother and Irina Abdyevna to enter the Belarusian State Choreographic Gymnasium College. The famous ballet artists Igor Kolb, Ivan Vasilyev and others graduated from this college. Little Pervana, her parents and teacher came when the exam selection was over. However, she was able to enroll and the girl’s dream came true – she was accepted to the gymnasium. All were unspeakably happy about this. Nevertheless, leaving a little girl alone in a foreign country was extremely difficult. - I still remember how my mother was leaving in tears. In addition, she still doubted about her decision. Now I think that it was the fairest decision my parents made. I became a self-sufficient person and I am engaged in that profession that gives me pleasure and joy. Eight years she studied in college with a wonderful teacher Nina Davydenko, who gave such a foundation and a base that helped her become a full-fledged artiste. Over these years, Minsk has become a native city for Pervana Myradova, and the Belarusian people, like the Turkmen people, are considered very hospitable. A year before the end of her studies, People’s Artist of Belarus Yuriy Antonovich Troyan came to the choreography college to select the girls to an internship. He noted great potential of Pervana. - Among others, I visited the theater, watched performances, danced. Moreover, already in March 2015, Yuriy Antonovich invited me to work in the theater. Of course, I was delighted. I accepted a proposal! The theater is famous for its rich repertoire and history. As the ballerina says, they have brilliant choreographers; each in its own way is amazing. - I really love my theater. I can say confidently that I am very lucky with the team. At first, I was in the corps de ballet, but soon I was given solo parts. I tried, worked hard to become better, stronger, and more artistic. I will never forget the day when Yuriy Antonovich invited me to try myself in the part of Juliet! I could not believe it! It was my dream, which turned into reality! I am very grateful that I was given such a chance. Lyudmila Genrikhovna Brzhozovskaya, once the prima ballerina of the Minsk Bolshoi Theater, and now the tutor teacher, who made many artists as star of the stage, taught Pervana with a special care. - She not only opened me as an artist, shared all her knowledge, spared time and attended, but also she gave me her soul. I owe a great debt to her for everything she did for me. I hope that I will have many premiers in future to please her. Life on the stage, of course, is not only success and recognition. It is a hard work, stress, despair and overcoming, sweat and even pain, if it is about ballet. What helps ballerina to look flying, subtle, beautiful, bewitching and dazzling? - On stage, I seems to me as I am in other time dimension. Music, scenery, costumes, and artists – all this brings me into a fabulous state, when you live on stage your role and forget about reality. This is an unusual feeling that every artist will understand, - says Pervana. - We have to feel pain, - she continues. - The ballet dancer’s body is subject to excessive loads. It is a component of the profession. A person can get used to a lot, but you just forget everything when you are on the stage. If this did not happen, then the acting skills come to the rescue. According to the ballerina, you cannot explain the spectator your problems and worries, it cannot be shown how hard it for you. The spectator wants to see a fairy tale. A professional artist, like a professional athlete, is always at risk. - I had several injuries and two operations on my knee. This fact, of course, pushes you back; sometimes it takes a long time to recover – both morally and physically. After it, each time you try to fly again, each time more difficult. There are many thoughts were during the rehabilitation. However, my parents, my brother, and my teacher Irina Mergenova always supported me. Without them and their participation, I would not be able to move forward and would not have achieved success.
