Turkmen students - winners of international contest in Russian language
The first-year and fifth-year students from Turkmenistan, studying at the Ulyanovsk State Pedagogical University, have been announced as winners of the Russian Language Contest “Russian Language - the Language of Engineering”, held within the framework of the International Youth Innovation Forum.
The language competition among representatives of 30 countries has been conducted in three categories. The first-year student from Turkmenistan Maysa Jumageldiyeva and a student from Bolivia became the winners in the first category, which included foreign citizens - first-year students of the secondary vocational education program, bachelor's degree and specialty.
In the second category, which embraced the second-year, third-year and fourth-year students, the victory was gained by the representatives from Peru and Uzbekistan.
And, in the third group of contestants - fifth-year students, undergraduates and post-graduate students, student from Turkmenistan Jumanazarov Kakajan and a student from Madagascar Ralison Mominainna Luciano came out on top.
The competition program included three rounds. The first round provided for the lexical grammatical test for the knowledge of Russian as a foreign language. During the second round, the participants demonstrated the writing skills on technical texts, and in the final round, speech situations were played, showing on the ability to conduct dialogue in scientific and technical stylistics.
The organizers of the event are the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Ulyanovsk Region, the Ministry of Youth Development, and the Ulyanovsk State Technical University.
