Moscow Tent of Ramadan to host National evening of Turkmenistan


On 15 May, annual 13th Ramadan Tent was opened on the territory of the Memorial mosque in Moscow. This unique charity project is being carried out by the Russian Mufti Council and the Muslim spiritual boards of Moscow and Russia.
During the Holy month for Muslims, the tent, resembling the setting sun, will bring together everyone to share the evening dinner of iftar.
This year theme of the tent is the Prophets of God and their merits. The project promises to be the largest in its history. Tent area is growing from year to year, as well as its popularity. Now, a huge tent is designed for simultaneous reception of up to 500 guests.
Along with a delicious culinary program in the Halal style, the organizers have prepared a variety of educational activities. Every evening during the 30-day fasting will be devoted to the culture of any of the republics of the Russian Federation, Central Asian countries and other countries.
Thus, on 24 May the visitors of Ramadan Tent will have iftar in the atmosphere of folklore and fine traditions of the Turkmen people.
The national evening of Tajikistan is scheduled for 22 May, Kazakhstan – 26 May, Uzbekistan – 28 May. Cultural events dedicated to Turkey, Iran, Azerbaijan, the Uighur Diaspora and Pakistani community will be also hosted in the Ramadan Tent.
It is worth to note that the Ramadan Tent, demonstrating the immutable customs of Muslim hospitality and cordiality, is open for everyone regardless of nationality, religion, social status. Everyone who wished to touch the world of good, spiritual unity and mutual respect is always welcomed there.
