Aktau manufacturer of electrical equipment desires to exploit Turkmen markets

Aktau transformer plant is determined to take its share at the Turkmen power energy market. More than 50% of the produced transformers are intended to be supplied to Turkmenistan, reports Kazakhstani mass media. And there are all the marketing preconditions for these plans. Turkmenistan's power industry is undergoing rapid technological upgrade in connection with plans to increase export potential and improve the reliability of the entire power network in the country. Therefore, according to Aktau manufacturer, the demand for power transformers in the neighboring country will grow. The easily accessible transport links, both marine and rail, can play a positive role in increasing the export supplies of electrical equipment, produced in Mangistau, to Turkmenistan. The proposal to conclude an agreement on direct supply of products of Aktau transformer plant to Turkmenistan was voiced by plant’s representatives during the Turkmen-Kazakh business form, held in Avaza in April during the visit of the industrial delegation of the Mangistau region. The modernized Aktau plant, reached in December last year full production capacity, will produce annually up to 4 thousand transformer substations with a voltage of 6-10 kV and switchboard equipment.
