Turkmenistan's agro-industrial complex replenished with new cattle-breeding enterprises

Several agro-industrial enterprises were put into operation on May 16th in the Ahal and Mary regions of Turkmenistan. These are equipped with the latest technology poultry and two livestock complexes.
The new agrofirms are due to state programs on import substitution, which are called to realize the economic potential of the Turkmen regions, as well as create additional jobs for the population.
A distinctive feature of new farms is the most modern automated equipment. Agro-enterprises are allocated quite extensive areas, where ecologically clean fodder for livestock and poultry will be grown, thus ensuring a full production cycle.
The cattle-breeding complex in the Tejen etrap of the Ahal velayat, built by Azapkesh private enterprise, is located on 600 hectares of land, nine of which are occupied by the farm itself. The rest of the territory is intended for growing fodder crops.
Annually the enterprise will produce about 100 tons of meat and 3 thousand tons of dairy products not only from local, but also German, and Ukrainian elite breeds of cattle.
Corresponding to international standards, the farm is equipped with automated equipment that maximizes the quality and cost-effectiveness of the complex.
The livestock complex in the Murghab Etrap, as well as Tejen one, is designed for the production of 100 tons of meat, and the same amount for dairy products. With a farm on 250 hectares of land, fodder crops for cattle will be grown.
Not only meat-lovers are in luck, but also those who prefer this low-calorie poultry meat and chicken eggs rich in nutritional and useful properties - a poultry complex built in the Mary etrap of FA "Sahragurlushik", will annually provide the local population with more than 5 thousand tons of chicken meat and 5 million eggs.
A fodder base for a poultry agrofirm will cover the territory of 90 hectares of land, where appropriate crops will be grown, and production facilities will be located on 10 hectares.
