Ashgabat, Astana and Tashkent at the beginning of the important way
The Head of the Almaty office of the Institute of World Economics and Politics (IWEP) under the Foundation of the First President of the Republic Kazakhstan, Askar Nursha considers, that recent negotiations of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with Nursultan Nazarbayev in Ashgabat and Shavkat Mirzyoyev in Tashkent will have a beneficial effect on the economies of the three neighboring countries. The leaders of the fraternal countries discussed the priority issues of mutually beneficial partnership, the most important of which are simplification of the order of crossing the borders for people and goods. Askar Nursha notes that the meetings in Ashgabat and Tashkent aimed to speed up the national economies of the region. He particularly appreciates the agreements in the energy and transport sectors. In his opinion, the potential of partnership in these areas is high, and at once it can provide opportunities for the implementation of a number of major joint projects. Kazakhstan economist considers, that Astana, Ashgabat and Tashkent show a sincere interest in developing a mutually beneficial partnership, which is quite natural as good neighbors should do so. According to him, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are at the beginning of the important way, when the foundations for subsequent effective cooperation in the sphere of economic development and mutually beneficial partnership are created.
